Aerobics versus Memory
A research has shown that aerobics exercise effects on memory by increasing blood flow to certain areas in brain which results in improving memory power.
In a study published in the journal Alzheimer’s Disease,it was stated that due to the increased blood circulation of aerobics, Amnesia problems in the old people are reduced.
Based on this study, scientists from the University of Texas believe that by finding drugs that improve blood flow to places in the brain associated with memory, there is an opportunity to treat Alzheimer’s disease.
For this study, they conducts experiments on 30 people who are aged 60 years and above. Half of them did aerobic exercises for a year and the other half did regular exercises.
In those experiments, the changes in blood flow in the brain of those who did aerobic exercise were examined, which led to differences in memory like improvement in memory power.
