How to make Aloo matar paratha at home

Ingredients


For The Dough
2 cup whole wheat flour
salt
oil

For the Stuffing
4 boiled and mashed potatoes
1 cup green peas boiled and coarsely mashed
1 chopped onion
Chopped coriander
2-3 green chili finely chopped
1 tsp.Ginger paste
lemon juice 2 tsp.
1/2 tsp garam masala
asafoetida
1 tsp cumin seeds
salt
oil
Ghee


Method
For the dough
Add flours with the salt and 2 tsp.oil in vessel. and mix well. Add enough water and make a like chapatti dough. Keep aside.

For the stuffing
Mash the potatoes coarsely add boiled and mashed green peas and Keep aside. Heat the oil in a pan, add the cumin seeds, asafoetida and onion and fry for at least 3 minutes. Add the green chilies and ginger paste fry again for 1 minute. Add the potatoes and green peas, salt, coriander, lemon juice, garam masala. Mix well and cook for 2 minute. Cook the mixture. Keep aside.

How to proceed
Knead the dough and divide into portions like lemon ball. Roll out one portion of the dough into a circle Place one portion of the prepared filling in the center of the dough circle. Bring together all the sides in the center and seal tightly. Roll out again into a big circle with the help of a little flour. Cook the paratha on a flat pan , using a little ghee until both sides are golden brown. Repeat with the remaining dough and filling to make more parathas. Serve hot with butter, curd, ketchup, pickle
