Consuming pearl millet in food improves digestion and heart function. Amino acids in it help in digestion. Daily consumption of pearl millet rice or bread is more beneficial than wheat bread for people suffering from diabetes.
The number of people suffering from heartburn and indigestion is increasing. Experts said that these problems can be controlled by pearl millet.
Infants above six months should be given cooked pearl millet rice along with vegetables and fruits. Research has found that compared to rice, it is very good for mothers and children.
Pearl millet food is digested slowly. Not immediate hunger. As a result, it becomes a habit to eat in a limited way so as not to get obese.
